White Lake Education Enhancement and Transformation (WLEET)

WLEET structured and commenced a tailormade scholarship and financial support project to disadvantaged Tanzanian children.

WLEET envisions Tanzania with sustainable education svstem and an improved education quality;

while its mission statement is promoting and supporting sustainable education system in Tanzania, through enhancement of manpower, infrastructures, community awareness and provision of quality education.

WLEET’s funding is derived from various source in the following percentage, 5% member’s contributions, 40% projects activities, 42% donors funding, 8% gifts,and 5%f undraising activities.

WLEET is calling upon both local and international donors to join efforts to eradicate ignorance and poverty in Tanzania.

WLEET established Whitelake High School in Changanyikeni, Kinondoni municipality in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

White Lake High School ranks among the five-star co-education secondary schools in Tanzania through its unparalleled quality education that includes extracurricular activities such as computer skills classes, sports (basketball, football and netball), entrepreneurship skills such as needlework and crop cultivation at Zinga farm, student government and educational clubs.

Its well-structured quality education, modern infrastructures, sound administration and inhouse academic competitions have continuously yielded students excelling with flying colours.
In the course of implementing its objective pertaining to the promotion of equal and quality education to the disadvantaged Tanzanian children such as orphans, discriminated and children with disabilities; WLEET structured and commenced a tailor made scholarship and financial support project to disadvantaged Tanzanian children.
The program was officially launched in the year 2019 with 25 children in the ordinary level, and todate, WLEET is serving an average of up to 200 disadvantage children per annum. The project is targeting to serve 1,000 per annum mainland Tanzania. To be eligible, the child must prove the following; (i) A Tanzanian citizen aged 12 to 17, (ii) Demonstrates financial streets, child with disability and/or discrimination, family violence (iii) Exhibits high scholastic abilitv.
